Scaleup North East was designed and is now delivered by Entrepreneurs with vast experience and deep expertise across a broad range of markets and sectors. The initial support aims to identify challenges and opportunities alongside any barriers to growth covering areas such as access to finance, access to markets, talent, leadership, and infrastructure. Once established, Partners will agree on a range of activities to help businesses navigate challenges and capitalise on opportunities. This may include sharing experience, knowledge, and contacts, acting as a sounding board, or referring to wider support within a trusted network.

The objective of this support is to help unlock potential, improve decision-making, develop strategy, build confidence, solve problems, and provide a single point of contact for business owners focused on growth and improvement.

By supporting such a diverse range of North East businesses, many opportunities for those supported to collaborate and develop meaningful relationships have been identified and nurtured, a significant value-add.

In addition to the one–to–one support offered, a range of workshops, peer groups, webinars, and boot camps are available to complement this and also provide insight and motivation for those businesses not quite ready to scale.
