Focussing on the key activities that will impact top and bottom line growth in the biggest possible way, in the shortest possible timescales and with the least amount of labour intensity. Key focus on acquisition of revenue and price/fee and margin optimisation.
2. Build an Aggressive Growth Plan to Achieve This
Develop a clear roadmap based on 3 year, 12 month and 90 day planning timescales with growth goals and accountabilities shared by the Management Team. Key activities based on what will “move the needle” in the business more than anything else.
3. Build a Business that can Operate Without the Owner(s)
Clear focus on systems, leverage, dilution of reliance on the owner and building the Management Team so the company can become self-managing, thereby increasing time, freedom and equity value for the owner. If the business is reliant on you then it is neither scalable nor saleable.
4. Readying the Business for Exit
Build more sale value in the business to increase the saleability of the company and uplift its exit multiple. Key focus on value creators that will achieve this (e.g. revenue predictability, owner is dispensable etc.). We can also support with Succession Planning and Management Team incentivisation.
